Overview

Track up-to-date hidden spot restaurants
through friends' reviews, saving them,
and making reservations with Gem Finder.




Background

Gen Z and Millennials crave diverse culinary
experiences, preferring to explore new
restaurants. However, finding and trusting
new eateries remains a challenge.

Users seek a streamlined and engaging
solution for discovering hidden gems
without extra online research

Improve the browsing experience and expand the cuisine selection by exploring small restaurants with friends and foodies

During their journey, recommendations from
friends and family inspire them to make final decisions.






Competitor Analysis




UXR Insight
People check out new restaurants through social media due to the updated and lively reviews. Word of mouth is important in making their final decision. They need filters for their preferences, such as a vegetarian menu or the availability of a baby highchair. 

I interviewed five adults who use Venmo to understand their experiences with
the platform and to learn about their experiences with setting up automatic
payments for recurring bills from other platforms.
